Website rescue for unfinished WordPress projects.
Has your website project stalled, or has your previous developer become unavailable? I help businesses work out what can be kept, what needs finishing and what stands between an unfinished WordPress site and launch.

Get a clear route from stalled project to launch
- Understand what is usable before committing to more development.
- Prioritise the pages and contact routes your customers need first.
- Agree who supplies content, manages access and approves launch so the next steps are clear.
How the project works
- Send the preview address and a list of unfinished work. We clarify access, ownership and what the original project was meant to deliver.
- I review the agreed parts of the build and propose a completion scope. Review costs and development costs are explained separately.
- After approval, I carry out the agreed work, check the affected features and arrange a handover and launch when ready.
What is included?
- An agreed review of the current build and outstanding requirements
- A completion plan that separates launch essentials from later improvements
- A backup or safe working copy agreed before changes
- Completion of the pages and functionality in your quote
- Checks of affected mobile layouts, links and forms
- An agreed launch and handover plan
Work directly with your developer.
I’m Luke, a freelance web designer and WordPress developer based in Winchester. My experience includes development at Rooster Marketing and Elliotts Builders Merchant. You speak to the person carrying out the work.
I explain the proposed work, agree the scope and price, and keep you informed as the project progresses.

Can you take over from another developer?
I can review an existing WordPress build if you can arrange authorised access to it. Keep copies of the brief, designs and licences if available; these help establish what can be used and what remains.
Will you keep what has already been built?
Where it is suitable, yes. I will explain which parts can be kept and where repairs or replacement may be needed. A review comes before any recommendation to rebuild.
What if I cannot access the website?
Tell me what access you have. You may need to contact your hosting provider, domain registrar or previous developer first. I cannot promise recovery of accounts or files you do not control.
Can you guarantee a launch date?
A realistic date depends on the condition of the build, access, content and remaining work. We agree a timescale after reviewing those requirements.
Other ways I can help
