When you contact me

The enquiry form is provided by HubSpot. It sends the contact details and message you choose to provide so I can respond, understand your project and discuss a quote. Email and phone enquiries are handled for the same purpose. Please include only information needed to discuss your project.

The form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. This may process technical information such as your IP address and browser/device signals. It operates separately from optional Google Analytics so the enquiry form can be provided and protected when analytics is rejected.

Handling a request for a quote is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract. Other correspondence and abuse prevention are handled for the legitimate interest of responding to and protecting business enquiries. Enquiry information is reviewed and kept only while needed for correspondence, project work or applicable record-keeping obligations. It is not sold.

Optional website analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics. It uses a pseudonymous browser identifier to report traffic sources, approved campaign labels, pages visited, approximate location, device/browser information, engagement, service interest and enquiry steps. A confirmed form submission is counted as an enquiry event.

Analytics does not receive your name, email, phone number, message, form field contents or an account identifier from this website. There is no session replay, keystroke recording or browser fingerprinting. URL queries and fragments are removed except a small set of approved marketing campaign labels. Advertising storage and personalisation remain disabled.

The lawful basis for this optional analytics is consent. You can reject it and still browse or send an enquiry. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw consent; this stops future measurement and removes accessible Analytics cookies. It does not automatically erase information previously processed.

Providers and retention

Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request information needed to serve and protect it. HubSpot processes submitted enquiries and technical information needed to provide the embedded form. Google processes optional Analytics data. These providers may process information outside the UK using their applicable data-protection arrangements.

The Analytics cookie lifetime and saved consent choice are limited to 180 days. Event-level Analytics retention is controlled in the Analytics property and is no longer than 14 months; aggregate reports may be retained longer. See the cookie policy for storage details.

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact the email above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
